Quick answer: All Cities We Serve
HomeCitiesAll Cities We Serve

Vegas Senior Advisor serves families across the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding Nevada communities. Each city in our coverage area has its own operator landscape — different mix of license types, different price ranges, different hospital coverage, different senior demographics. This page walks through each city's senior-care profile.

Las Vegas

The Clark County seat and Nevada's largest city. Largest concentration of licensed senior-care operators in the state across every category — assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, residential care homes, adult day care, in-home care, hospice, home health. Senior population has grown roughly 4% per year for a decade. Operator landscape is unusually deep, with both premium-tier and Medicaid-friendly options. ~130,000 adults age 65+.

Henderson

Nevada's second-largest city and one of the country's fastest-growing retirement destinations. Senior-care landscape skews premium — larger 50+ bed assisted-living and memory-care communities, strong skilled-nursing presence around Henderson Hospital, integration with Sun City Anthem (~14,000 age-restricted residents), Cadence, and Inspirada master-planned communities. Higher 65+ household income drives higher-tier operator mix. ~60,000 adults age 65+.

North Las Vegas

Third-largest city in the metro. Senior-care landscape is more economically diverse than Henderson — mid-tier assisted living, a meaningful number of small residential care homes (Nevada HIC license), and several in-home care agencies. Growth concentrated along the I-15 corridor and around Aliante. Higher concentration of Medicaid-eligible residents than Henderson, which drives operator mix. ~28,000 adults age 65+.

Boulder City

Small community at the edge of the metro near Lake Mead. Unusually high senior concentration as a percentage of city population (~35% age 65+), but small absolute count of licensed operators. Most higher-acuity residents relocate to Henderson or Las Vegas; many use in-home care to stay aging-in-place. Predominantly private-pay. ~5,500 adults age 65+.

Pahrump

Technically in Nye County, not Clark — different licensing landscape from the rest of our coverage. Meaningful senior population but small number of local licensed operators. Most common path: in-home care while staying at home, then relocate to Las Vegas Valley facilities if residential care becomes necessary. ~7,000 adults age 65+.

How geography affects senior care decisions

Three factors make geography a bigger decision input than most families realize. First, hospital proximity — most families prefer a facility within 10 to 15 minutes of an emergency department, which constrains options once the resident's care needs include cardiac, respiratory, or fall-risk profiles. Second, family visiting frequency — facilities that look identical on paper feel very different when one is a 10-minute drive from family and the other is 40 minutes. Third, operator quality varies by city — Henderson's premium tier doesn't have the same density of Medicaid-friendly options that central Las Vegas has, and vice versa.

Vegas Senior Advisor maintains current operator data across every city in our coverage area. We can walk you through which cities make sense for your situation in a 15-minute conversation. Call (702) 802-0093.

Beyond city borders — neighborhood-level decisions

Within each city, neighborhood matters too. Summerlin (west Las Vegas) and Anthem (south Henderson) have premium operator concentrations. Spring Valley and Enterprise have strong mid-tier mixes. Central east Las Vegas has the highest residential-care-home concentration. Lake Las Vegas is the boutique east-Henderson area. The right neighborhood for your family depends on where the primary visiting family members live, the resident's preferred hospital system, and the operator mix that matches the care level and budget.
